Casey Anthony’s character traits revealed in handwriting
The Casey Anthony trial is soon coming to a close. The media has labeled Casey as a liar. As a Trial Run Master Profiler through handwriting and statement analysis, Casey’s handwriting is no doubt of interest to the average reader. Here is a sample released by the Florida judicial system:
We need to look at “how” a person writes to reveal character traits and potential behavioral choices. A cautious individual evaluates first before they commit to an answer and this thinking process slows one down. Slow handwriting is one sign of caution. Casey is cautious and does not readily reveal herself. This style of writing is called “Facade writing”. The mid zone emphasis implies she is a social person who interacts well with her immediate environment. (Think Britney Spears, Paris Hilton)
The blue circled S is not well formed and shows non commitment in shape. Such letters are disguised and could be interpreted as something else. Another example of disguise is the red arrowed number 5. Such poor letter formations shows lack of commitment to clarity. This is frequently seen in individuals who say one thing but do another.
We write from left to right and momentum visible in certain strokes like t crossbars and endings of letters. Long and strong moves from left to right imply initiative. Look at the end strokes of her e’s and note that e’s have a medium size end stroke that goes past the body of the e. Compare that to the end stroke of the red circled “me” and “me”. When Casey writes about herself (“me”), she becomes “more cautious” by showing reduced initiative.
The mid zone letters like the O are our social and communication letters. Casey’s O’s are not just a circle and have retracing strokes most of the time. The circle is “double closed” and implies secrecy. Authors who do this almost all the time have a tendency to be willfully misleading, in other words deceptive.
The rounded tops of the M’s and N’s are called “arcades”. This shows Casey is kind, soft, gentle natured and in general guarded regarding personal matters. Such authors are often concerned with appearances just to leave a good impression. Many teen age girls have this features in their handwriting which fades when maturing.
Now look at the word “mom”. The first M of mom changed dramatically and has sharp tops showing angst / anxiety as mentally she felt the need to move down quicker than usual. A change in writing is a change in her reality. The words around “mum” are underlined, first once, then twice implying an increase in released energy. Casey is elaborately trying to convince in that sentence. What comes to mind is “thou protests too much”.
In conclusion, the handwriting character traits shows she is social, immature, cautious and she has deceptive tendencies . This is consistent with known behavioral choices spread all over the news.
Remember, character traits is not the equivalent of behavioral choices. We patiently await what the court decides regarding her guilt or innocence.
