How can I use other artists' pop music in my films? I'm running a charitable service for schools, creating short tv programmes about international development issues. Basically kids send us short clips taken on their mobiles/webcams, giving us their views on global issues. I'd like to have some background music playing, but I don't want any old rubbish. I need songs that the kids will recognise. So my question is how can I use short sound clips for free (or cheap). Alright say I was a musician and I had an idea like this would it be monumental to implement it here it is: To make pop songs till I get a one hit wonder and then to make myself faker and faker till even pop music listeners stop listening to me now then to be able to artistically turn it into a direct connection with people as my new band 3 years down the road would be about hating the imagery and materialistic idealogy that you might be more important and I was devoted to changing it and I would wear anti fashion and alway drop hints that there was enlightenment on the way would this be a spritual art. I'm starting to wonder if I am so as detached from people as it has always seemed the big question however is can an artist answer the question without even knowing the answer can he lead the people to it can he show the world something he has never seen is there more power in this art then being used today?

Is mcr, patd and fob pop music??? Recently, I Have seen on another question that people think mcr, fob and patd are pop music!!!Have these people ever listened to House of Wolves and Mama! Or Snitches and Talkers get Stiches and Walkers!!! Compare these to the Spice Girls and Take That this is not pop music!!! I fail to see any cheesy pop dances!!! Do you think Pop Music has become more noisy & less melodic? I certainly would say 'yes' to this question, but maybe it's just a case of generation gap, since I grew up in the 80's, when Pop Music sounded naiver than today, I think. Ok, someone can say that many artists from those times were making music just for getting rich&famous, but I really don't think it has been different in the most critically acclaimed 90's. I think actually most critics tend to adore 'weird' and/or 'difficult' bands and to detest more popular ones in a general way. A snobbish attitude indeed. It was like that in the 80's, in the 90's and at present too. So when you pick up a band like Erasure, most of them immediately turn up their nose at them. Nevetheless, they are a pop duo who owns one of the most accurate melodic sense on Earth! On the other hand, I've been considered that most bands from today rarely can create a good melody. Can you sing pop music or rock muisc with an opera voice? I just discovered today I can sing really well in opera or like classical music. The porblem is that i'm thirteen. I like some classical music but i'm more into pop, rock, rap, and pretty much everything except hillbilly, techno, and dance. I'm not aure how ell i do in other styles I guess I do Ok but im way better with opera. I wanna know if there's a way i can sing other styles like pop or rock or even some type of gothic music just anything else with and opera voice.

Vietnamese pop music? When I was in about sixth grade, I was lent a Vietnamese cassette of pop music. I think the artist's name was Giang Ngoc, and the title of her album was New Wave. I think it was made in the late 80s - early 90s. She did some songs in English, part of the lyrics I remember were "Shy like an angel/you had my passion from the very start". This was so long ago, but if I was to find it, I'd like that. I am not a speaker of Vietnamese nor am I a native of the country, but I had an interest in world music at an early age! Chinese Pop Music Video, What is the name of the group and the name of the song? I saw a pop music video in China this month. It is a video with a fish that has a lure in it's mouth eating shrimp. I can't read chinese and my mandarin isn't that good. Does anyone know the name of the song and the music group that plays it?
