How do you feel about pop music? I honestly think pop music is at a rough spot. I just heard Justin Timberlake's new song "Sexy BacK" and I liked it. But not because of the beat or anything. Is classical music superior to pop music? I almost lost a friend a year ago when I said that pop music listeners are less cultured than classical listeners. The guy was pretty mad. Since then, I have been listening to pop music by various artistes to atone for my ignorance, but still find that it lacks a lot of things that classical music has an abundance of, for example pop music is nowhere near as poetic as classical music, nor does it have that certain intelligence in which the musical lines move, and interact with each other. I try to remind myself that no one type is better, they're just different, but still find that classical music is superior. Do you think Pop Music has become more noisy & less melodic? Can you sing pop music or rock muisc with an opera voice? I just discovered today I can sing really well in opera or like classical music. The porblem is that i'm thirteen. I like some classical music but i'm more into pop, rock, rap, and pretty much everything except hillbilly, techno, and dance. I'm not aure how ell i do in other styles I guess I do Ok but im way better with opera. I wanna know if there's a way i can sing other styles like pop or rock or even some type of gothic music just anything else with and opera voice.

Is pop music dying? I was reading an article in the newspaper, and they were saying how pop music is all the same now, i mean, obviously i think that, seeing as im not really into all that pop scene stuff, but what do you guys think??

Vietnamese pop music? When I was in about sixth grade, I was lent a Vietnamese cassette of pop music. I think the artist's name was Giang Ngoc, and the title of her album was New Wave. I think it was made in the late 80s - early 90s. She did some songs in English, part of the lyrics I remember were "Shy like an angel/you had my passion from the very start". This was so long ago, but if I was to find it, I'd like that. I am not a speaker of Vietnamese nor am I a native of the country, but I had an interest in world music at an early age! I'm usually good at finding things obscure, but this one just eludes me. Thanks in advance :)

Chinese Pop Music Video, What is the name of the group and the name of the song? I saw a pop music video in China this month. It is a video with a fish that has a lure in it's mouth eating shrimp. I can't read chinese and my mandarin isn't that good. Does anyone know the name of the song and the music group that plays it?
