Name the Korean song with this music video? My friend was watching a Korean Drama at night on channel 17 in Southern California. South Korean pop culture? I realised that south korean pop culture is not very asian as in like the Japenese. I've seen them do breakdancing, beatboxing,their music videos, dressing and I've heard their music. Its very american based, unlike the Japenese and Tawainese who is now more into the kawaii cute culture. They can speak much better english too. Where can I go to get Korean music CDs? I live in Bergen County, NJ, and want to know what's a good store in the NY/NJ area to get K-pop albums. I know where to get them online, but I'd rather not deal with shipping... There are a couple of Korean Supermarkets nearby (Hanareum and Hanyang) and while they USED to have a good selection of music CDs the pickings there are really slim now.

Could anyone recommend some really good Korean rock music? I just feel like I do not have enough rock music in my collection. There's pop, dance, ballads, new age, hip hop, etc. but not enough rock music so my search continues again. The only Korean rock music I'm really familiar with is Moon Hee Jun and Jaurim. I really want to listen to the perfectly arranged rock music with good vocals and great musical arrangements but am finding it difficult to find anything. I love Moon Hee Jun's work and Jaurim's track off their sixth album titled 'You and Me' is the best rock track I've heard in a long time. But I just feel this isn't enough. I listen to a lot of music...mainly gospel, R&B, native american, and Asian pop music. I listen to K-Pop (Korean pop music), and I often have to listen to songs over and over again to pronounce the words correctly. However, when I listen to J-Pop (Japanese pop music), I can look @ the lyrics and sing along with the person almost perfectly. For statistics, I can generally pronounce 30% of Korean words correctly the first time, and for Japanese words, generally >75% correct the first time. Is blood memory a whacked theory? Can these occurrences be attributed to more meritable explanations? I really don't think it's a coincidence. All feedback of substance requested.

Why is Japanese Pop, Asian Pop, and and Korean Pop so difficult to acquire in the United States? I have always been interesting in hearing more from the Asian countries, but acquiring the music from over there is extremely difficult. Especially through legal channels. Why is that? I'm not finding the racist remarks in some of these answers to be very nice. Perhaps we can stick to relevant answers instead of "Their Music Sucks" type. Many of their songs ARE written in english. Which shows that some of these people are answering merely out of spite of the question. how many of you guys have totally different types of music u listen to?
