1. Bob Dylan--the best song writer America has produced
2. METALLICA!!! I love their music! The older stuff is the best, but its all good!
3. Currently I'd say Dar Williams, largely, I think, because she's someone my wife and I can agree on. My tastes run more toward World/Ethnic; my wife's run more toward folk and pop, but somehow we can leave the same Dar Williams CD in the player for weeks and neither one of us gets tired of it.
4. General Lafayette, because he plays music that gets under your skin and plays with your emotions. He can make you want to cry, or get up and dance like a maniac. He has talent by the bucket load and could teach some of these new marketmen-created popstars a few lessons.
5. my favorite music artist is Backstreet Boys. I think they r soooo hot and talentent!

7. My favorite music artist is a band called Green Day. I love them because they brighten my day when I'm frustrated, and upset, they have beautiful music, take Wake Me Up When September Ends, for example, and they have a lot of style. Also, Green Days Billie Joe Armstrong who sings lead vocals and guitar, inspire me. He knew what he wanted in life, and worked hard to get where he is now. That inspires me in so many ways. Although there may have been rocky points, like Billie Joes father's death, but he pulled through, and that's another insperation. Green Day completed a gap in my life, and although I've never met them, or been to one of their concerts, that's okay, because at least I'm not like a preppy little Tennie. They wouldn't even know what Basketcase is.
8. fleetwood mac stevie nicks,lindsay buckingham,and christine mcvie are some of the best songwriters and singers of all time and john mcvie and mick fleetwood are great musicians to
9. Judas Priest/Halford. Rob Halford is the metal god. Seen them in the 80's, seen Halford's band, and seen them reunited. Awesome music and vocals.
10. My Chemical Romance. I bought their new C.D. "Three cheers for sweet revenge" The night before I went on a trip to Virginia. And I didn't bring any other cd's with me. So I listened to it non-stop to and from Virginia. They grew on me. And I've liked them ever since.
11. My favorite band is Interpol. I love their sound and how cryptic their lyrics are. However, my favorite band of all-time would have to be The Slits. They mixed punk rock and reggae together (dub rock) to get this freaking crazy record called, Cut. Ooh and then the YEAH YEAH YEAHS, I love them. Karen O's voice is crazy.
