Pop music/MTV sucks!?

Pop music really does suck now. In the 60's, pop bands like Beatles were awesome. Now, talentless people like Fergie are infesting the minds of today's youth. I mean, seriously, listen to Fergie's 'Glamorous', all she does is brag about her cars, limos, yachts, private planes, jewelry and how rich she is. This is also why MTV now sucks. I mean, the only reason MTV2 was made is because MTV never played music anymore. Mtv now plays stupid pointless shows like Real world, laguna beach and super sweet 16. Oh my f*cking god, i thought celebrities and MTV was supposed to set good examples, but hey, not every girl could get a BMW as her first car, can she? And don't get me started on hip hop. No offense, but when i think of hip hop, i think of black people. I personally think hip hop degrades black people, as well as women. All they do is spit words about sex, sex sex, cars, bling, and more sex. And women. This corrupts kids_not videogames,or metal..MTV. Now, who agrees with me??

1. i disagree. Obviously not all pop stars are talentless...they must have some talent if they have fans and "made it" in hollywood. I agree with you on hip hop, but on MTV and the shows...they made be stupid to you, but someone must like them for them to be on the air! If pop music sucked...all of the artists wouldnt have #1 hits all over the world with sell-out concerts!
2. I agree. I don't know how such garbage is let on television, this just proves how stupid and corrupted Mtv has turned out to be. MTV was started by Warner Cable, promoted by Apple Records, made by Beatles. Without rock, MTV would've never been made, yet teenagers say rock sucks. So many talented MUSICIANS (no, that doesn't count rappers) are left out, because record companies are obsesses with money, and don't care about how music sounds. So...i was driving home one day with my girlfriend. I turned on the radio, and i heard this garbage playing, it was a hip hop song, and for literally 2 minutes straight all he said was "This is why i'm hot this is why i'm hot this is why i'm hot". Sucks so bad.
3. I fully agree with u. How spoiled n ungrateful r those bi*ches on super sweet 16? They piss me off, I agree with the fact that pop music sucks now. They brag about being hot n rich, n then they complain that they don't like their lives. They can't make up their mind. N hip hop & rap is degrading to women, i don't listen to it, i refuse to fuel that lifestyle.
