American Pop Music in other countries?

I'm doing a paper on American pop music and I want to know in what other countries it is popular? I know that it is popular in France and I'm not sure where else? Australia? Also I want to know what you think the future of American pop music is going to be. Provide sources if possible.

1. people listen to a lot of american music in asian countries like china too.
2. Pick up a copy of Billboard Magazine at your local library or buy one at a newsstand -- or try their website, though you may have to pay for it. They have charts for most of the other countries (besides USA, Britain, & Australia) that play American pop. Some artists sell well in Japan, Holland, and Germany too.
3. Indonesia. A country North of Australia and South of Malaysia. I am from there. There we don't really listen to music, but it seems that American pop music is amongst the popular genre in Indonesia. Ok, like for example my best friend reeeeaaaallly is a big fan of Good Charlotte. I don't know how she started but... I heard that Good Charlotte had their concert in Indonesia last month, I was really shocked. She'd told me last year that their concert had been cancelled because of some bomb threat or something....
