Has anyone seen Aliens vs Predator Requiem and can explain it to me?
Yes but who is the chinese lady at the end that the govt. guy turns over a metal boomerang/star to and says "This isn't for the govt is it, Ms. U ?" (I forgot her name). Not sure where the metal boomerang triangle came from (maybe from one of the Preds arms?)...and what side is Ms. U on? Ok, hard to tell the Predator that is taking medicine to keep the alien from popping out of his belly from the Alien that is morphed into a Predator. And then in the end, instead of popping out of the Predator's belly, he just morphs into a Pred/Alien like the other one and they fight each other (I guess for territory?). I never saw the Predator movies except a little of one with Stallone (I think) . Not sure what they do or why they hung one guy skinned alive in the tree? Or how they shoot Aliens with red triangles that come from lasers in their eyes? I am confused about Alien reproductions stuff. First they used to grab people and wrap them up to feed to their babies that came out of eggs, (cont) then the babies would latch onto someone's face and go down their throat and come out of their belly as an adolescent (?) alien. In this one the large alien sticks its tongue or mouth to another mouth and puts a bunch of alien eggs in there to "hatch" and come out the belly of the person. And if the person is a guy, sometimes they just whack their tongue on his forehead to kill him? And sometimes there is just a big chunk missing from the belly? The aliens got some people in the beginning, but the people didn't morph, they just died. Isn't it supposed to morph into a lookalike person after it pops out? And the Pred with the alien in his belly (and taking shots for it) was just dousing all the bodies with acid to make them disappear...why did he care one way or the other? Someone told me the Chinese lady was from the first Alien movie...I don't remember back that far.. YES! Mrs. Yutan...someone said she was in the first Alien movie... But I think the one with the medicine morphed into a Pred/Alien hybrid in the end like the other one...hard to tell... they all look alike...LOL... Ok, stallone and arnold...they both look alike too...LOL.. Ok, it was the Pred/Alien hybrid that put the Alien babies in the pregnant woman..it was hard to tell the Pred/Alien from the Pred guy. ... and I knew they morphed somehow, just humanoid, but when the man and the boy had aliens hatch..oh, they were just humanoid, not exactly look like the people..

- The Aliens are like giant insects that use mammals and humans and any other kind of "fleshy" lifeform to "grow their baby alien "larvae" in, and then as their first "meat meal" when they chew and eat their way out...they always end up looking like Aliens, but they also "borrow" the intelligent traits and knowledge of the "unfortunte hosts" in which they grow in when the slimy crabby things that come out of the giant eggs forceably implant the Alien embryos within their bodies to gestate them to baby Alien maturity... The Predators are an intelligent species that evolved from "exo-skeleton scorpion-like" lifeforms," and as part of their "religious practices," they use the Aliens (which are their most "challenging" lifeforms to "prey" upon) to keep enormous "Predator vs. Alien" planetary-wide "hunting" rituals permanently going, because that is the "main source" of their "religious rituals and games...which primarily involve the "challenging" contest of "warrior vs warrior" fights to the death... Humans, unfortuntely, and entire planets (like Earth) are the "game boards" for the Predator's "fight to the death" games that they base their whole religion on... Humans are the almost-helpless victims of this whole "extraterrestrial recreational war games," and are caught in the middle of this "Titantic Alien vs. Predator Activity that has probably been going on for tens of thousands of years... I haven't seen the movie yet...so I don't know the answer to the details...but it sounds like humans take sides in this "war game," some being "for" the Predators, and some being "against" them...and thus...a "war within a war" struggle between human factions, who are trying to break free of the "high-tech" and "biological" disadvantages that keep them caught in the middle...
- crow! you asked a huge question. ok i'll try to answer them all. 1 i have no idea who the asian lady is the the end. mrs yutan is her name. i have been trying to find out. 2 the predator in this movie didn't have an alien in him, he was wounded from falling onto a platform and he was dressing his wound. 3 the metal boomerang triangle? there are a couple of triangle motifs. the ones he throws onto the walls in the sewer that shoot out lasers (he was wearing those) and the one that acts as a targeting system for his cannon (that's in his helmet) 4 the predator/alien was from the first film where the predator died and they layed him on the table top in the spaceship. after the other predators left him, the alien burst out of his chest, thus producing an alien/predator hybrid. this is the one you are referring to. there is only one of these and he's the one that dies in the end fighting the predator. 5 yeah the predator was taking medicine, but not because he was impregnated. he was hurt in a fall, like i mentioned before. 6 in the end, the predator is fighting the same predator/alien hybrid. he doesn't die until the end. the alien is the one from the spaceship. only one predator got impregnated, and that was in the first AVP film. 7 it wasn't stallone, it was arnold. the skinning of the guy confused me too. first predators did that like a hunter skins an animal. it's like a trophy. second, the predators only kill those who are "worthy" of the kill. so that means they only attack those that have weapons or are being aggressive. the deputy was doing neither, although he did have a gun, but it was holstered. he was running from fear and not being aggressive. my thought is that the predator was trying to cover his tracks and this guy would spread the word about his arrival if he got away. so the predator killed him to keep secrecy. 8 the red laser triangle dots are targeting systems, like cops, and military have on their guns. it's a laser finder in which whatever the dots are touching, that's what's going to be shot. the dots just mark the target and the cannon from his shoulder fires at the aliens. 9 the reproduction stuff.....yeah, that one surprised me too. the predator alien i guess placed little aliens into the woman which in turn ate her baby that she was about to have, and then proceeded to explode from her stomach. god that would suck. traditionally, aliens have had to lay eggs to impregnate a person. the eggs would hatch face huggers and the face huggers would attach to faces, and then the baby aliens would burst out of chests. that's the life cycle. maybe the predator alien was able to do something different? who knows. 10 as for holes in heads, the aliens sometimes just kill people. well they kill them and then eat them. so some must have been hungry. the holes in chests come from them either stabbing people with their giant tales or by baby aliens bursting out of chests. 11 morphing....ok, an alien takes on the characteristics of it's victims. so whatever the alien comes out of, it most resembles. most of the aliens in the film looked more "humanoid" since all of the victims where people, while there was only one predator alien. 12 and lastly, i suspect that the predator wanted to keep things secret because he is an alien. they use earth as a hunting place for themselves (for the hunting of aliens and people), and in having the truth out there, that would make things harder on themselves. hope it helps. note: it was yutani...not yutan. that's why i couldn't find anything. this is from wikipedia: Weyland-Yutani is a fictional corporation in the motion picture Alien and its sequels, often referred to simply as "The Company". It is one of the corporations that runs the human colonies outside the solar system through the Extrasolar Colonization Administration, has a seat in the Interstellar Commerce Commission's Company Review Board, and also has a large presence on Earth. Weyland-Yutani is consistently portrayed as exhibiting the worst aspects of corporate profiteering, and as being willing to sacrifice decency and human life in the pursuit of profit. In various portrayals of the Aliens' universe, the corporation has its hands in all aspects of space colonization and research. The corporation has consistently ordered its employees and agents to attempt to obtain living Xenomorphs so that they can be exploited as a biological weapon, of course, without regard for their lives. Weyland-Yutani is a modern example of the longstanding trope of the evil megacorporation in science fiction.
