Female Vocalist, love song + pop/rock?

Please help me think of group w/a female vocalist. I'm trying to figure out who sang a certain song, but I can't remember any of the lyrics. It's not punk or metal - it's melodic & fun to sing to. I don't even know much recent (last 20-30 years!) pop/rock music/groups/artists - just please list as many groups and/or female vocalists & love type songs as you can so maybe I can remember this song that was stuck in my mind. And what's a good link to go listen to samples of the music? I must purchase it!!! LOL!! Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you! The lyrics might have had something about "crazy" - but maybe not. Maybe it wasn't exactly a "love" song, but about love that doesn't work???? When it was stuck in my head, I knew I loved it & now can't remember the tune or lyrics. Please help! THANK YOU! Thank you to those who answered so far. The tune is slightly up beat & since I only find pop/rock music incidentally (always listening to other stuff), it's usually pretty old by the time I realize I really like something. Maybe 80's or 90's? It's not Alanis Morisset, Nighwish, Paramore & not Heart/Crazy & not Patsy Cline!! LOL!

Evanescence is a really good band they have a female vocalist,she is really good.
It might be Paramore because they are pop rock. I have never liked them, but they are the first band that sprang to mind when you said pop rock. Evanescence is alternative rock. They generally sound dark but their newer stuff has a different style. Many of their songs include lyrics about love that doesn't work, and the definition of crazy, as in 'losing my mind' etc. By the way, Nightwish is NOT pop rock MCR Baby.
