  2. In reality it is because people are mean spirited and love to see someone who was doing well at one time fall on their face. Isn't that a sad statement about people in general? There are so many important issues and nosy folks want to take pleasure and satisfaction in another individuals problems.

Because people eat this garbage UP.... if people didn't LIVE to hear about some stupid celeb, the photographers wouldn't be chasing them all over the place and they wouldn't be GETTING all the pictures of people running over hands or drinking or whatever....of course if the KIDS didn't DO the stupid things they get CAUGHT DOING, the photographers wouldn't have anything to SHOOT either....I think we have made WAY TOO MUCH of the celebs in this country and a LOT of them have actually ASKED for a lot of the grief they get BECAUSE they keep on parading inappropriate behavior right in front of the photographers...and like I said, people eat that stuff up.... Star Magazine sells probably more issues then TIME and that is SICK....but, if JOHN Q public would stop BUYING the rag-mags, well, MAYBE we'd be hearing less about the wild children of Hollywood and start hearing more news of the WORLD.....
  5. This is looking at it from a media point of view. Focusing on people like britney & brangelina and tomkat ( who comes up with this names) its easy to escape the realityo of life. Also when the WTC happened the media focused on that for two weeks they went ok, now the new story! However what very few people remember is that thier was a warning prior to the WTC. There was a bombing in Nigeria, were the officials warned the US however the media didnt show that story since it wasnt more important than the oil crisis facing americans.
