All About Britney Spears

What do you think is really going on in the world when all we hear about is Britney Spears on the news?

If it's not Britney it is some other star. We never even hear about what is going on with the war anymore.

1. Not much is going on with the war. The "surge" worked pretty well.
2. they do ratings to see what people are watching and then they program what they think most poeple will watch, in order to sell more cars and ad space. the news is not a public service, it s just another show (with sex and violence) . there is a janes addiction song about this. i forgot what its called but it was from their first release in 1988. "nothings shocking" yeah thats it.
3. It's a diversion from the issues in the world that really matter. People are afraid to confront things that they're afraid of.
4. Its the stupid Media that is constantly reporting this stuff. If u ask me I couldn't care less if Brittney married the Dalai Lama tomorrow. But the sad fact is that the Media base their programming on whats popular according to polls and public opinion at large. So really, it is the stupid average American thats feeding this kind of mindless programming. We only have ourselves to blame.
5. It just shows how much attention we Americans are focusing on the media, who're targeting Britney Spears and other celebrities; when in truth, we need to know about our soldiers and the war and the welfare of others in the world.
