How do you feel about pop music?
I honestly think pop music is at a rough spot. I just heard Justin Timberlake's new song "Sexy BacK" and I liked it. But not because of the beat or anything. It reminded me of my humps. I loved the song because it was so aggravating that I liked it. I would catch myself humming the song. Artist like rihanna are trying to be to much like beyonce. I love rihanna's music but I heard someone put rihanna on my girl beyonce's level and i'm like wtf? Rihanna can't sing as well as beyonce but dancin wise i'd say she'd give b a run for her money. Now I like anything by the pussycat dolls(not cuz they are gorgeous because i am gay lol) especially their song "buttons". But radio stations are overplaying these great songs but underplaying songs that are equally if not more better. What is up with that?

- awesome
- Pop music died 15 years ago. There is no more melody in any of it. "Pop" means it should have a pop in it. This modern stuff is just crap............
- I think it can POP right out my window along with Beyonce! I'm tiered of hearing their replayed crap!
- all music is life, live it full
- well i personally like pop,the music has really good rythm but these days the songs are really hardcore sometimes like it influences drugs and sex which is not a very good thing cause the people who listen to this music the most are teens so you see my point? but other than that i love pop music!
- dont know im not really a fan of pop but if there is a good song it grows on me till i really like it .......... i agree Rihana is okay but dont nobody put her in Beyonce's level Beyonce has been doing for soo long she is kinda a veteran.....
- pop music is great only when i feel like hearing it.
- I'd like to say that I really like it but...... PoP has changed in the past 15 years and it's not as entertaining as I would like it to be.Even when a new song or artisit does come on scene, they are so over-played that I can hardly stand to hear them more than a few times.
- It's the evil twin of Rock, that killed its brother but can't begin to take his place.
- Pop music is short for popular, not having a "pop" in it... but I think 90% of pop music is unbearable, the horrible pinnacle of which occured at the release of Gwen Stefani's Holla Back Girl. I thought that surely the apocalypse was on the horizon when I first heard that song and instead of Gwen Stefani fading into immediate obscurity never to be heard from again, the song was a hit...
- I love pop music from the 90's. Current pop music, which I presume is from the charts and such, is too... varied. The ARIA charts (I'm from Australia), I find, is populated with too much dance music. I love Mariah Carey's old stuff, and even the Backstreet Boys make me wanna tap my feet. The recent soundtrack of High School Musical, is more pop than music flooding the charts.
- I don't like it anymore. It seems to be played by the same people.
