How can people even listen to pop music?

Hell,why do people like any pop music? Why do people even listen to pop music in the first place,it all sucks! Metal is the only thing worth listening to in this world. Come on,let me see those horns out there! \m/ RAHHHHHHHHHHH \m/

I do love Metal but i like to stay open to everything you cant just say that its the only thing worth listening to, i mean dont diss the classic rock, and im a punk rock fan for life. besides i like some pop i mean old school michael jackson was pretty cool, im not gonna lie i love the bad album, and man in the mirror was amazing.
5. Beacause it has easy access, It is constently repeated on the radio, MTV... Everywhere!!! I hate commercial radio. Now I love Metal, but There is more to listen too. I just don't do Country, Rap, R&B or top 40('Pop" AKA Popular music).

9. I love Radiohead, The Pixies among others but Tool will always be running hot through my veins. I find it's really esy to stay away from pop fans by not watching tv and avoiding malls.

14. first off, "pop" refers to POPULAR, and believe it or not, such groups as metallica and pantera were once featured in POP sections in record stores... because they were immensely popular. second, what metal groups are you listening to? Avenged seven fold or some other poseur band like that? get a clue.

17. um what??!! i grew up on pop. i dont like some of the modern stuff though. Evanescene songs i used to like but their newer stuff seems to conform and theyve changed too much. most of Justin Timberlake's stuff nowadays suck but ill admit i like his older stuff. if i can have a connection to it then ill probly like it. i like alot of it because i can relate to so many of the songs. whats important w/music is the connection a person can feel. thats what i feel music is all about. i suppose you mean to tell me the Beatles is pop and you hate them. nah not cool, the Beatles is classic. if that is the case you have no place get out of my face i say the same thing about rap but you dont see me blabbing every day and asking questions about how can people listen to rap. rap is crap...but for some reason people must like it. maybe it has a place in this world idk. metal..ahhhh that stuff gives me a headache. worse than hard rock, actually hard rock is ok sometimes. i want to listen to hard rock but it gives me a headache. but metal wooo i cant listen to that. do you want my head to explode? i dont even like music turned up loud so i suppose my ears have a low tolerance...so i doubt my ears can stand metal. yeah i have like rabbit ears so that is also why i prefer pop because it is soft. i like rock too though. i must steer clear of metal. if you put metal near my ears you wont wanna be around me because i am very grumpy when i have a headache. let me tell ya i will get a headache. i seem to remember hearing metal one time and it did that to me. i get headaches too much so ive had enough of them. 90s pop is the best because im a 90s child....its kindof a way of bringing back memories. i could never just not listen to pieces of memories. open your ears to other music and stop being so picky. as i became older i didnt use to like oldies except for Elvis but now i do. course it helps when the guy youre smitten w/loves the Beatles. but i dont like it just because he does....being into him just made me open my ears and have a listen. i forgot how good it was and then that opened me to other oldies. i was clearly a kid that had sense for liking all that (cuz my mom would turn to Oldies when i was a kid and i listened along with her when i wasnt listening to pop) my mom always says "youre entitled to your opinion" so i guess that is what i have to say.
18. some people just like pop. i like some of it, but not much. i normally listen to rock. no offence, but i don't really like metal all that much.
