Is Britney Spears more Important to Republicans then their own agenda?

Republican Minority Whipped Eric Cantor spent the other day at a Britney Spears Concert instead of helping his party with their 19 page Budget. Is this why there were no numbers, charts or anything of real value in it? Why does a 40-ish year old man go to a Britney spears Concert? Is Britney now the Republicans "family values" role model? Why can't they leave Britney alone?
