who is the greatest music artist of all time?

Its a question that has been asked time and time again but its always been one of my favourite ones. I have never been able to answer this question with conviction and honesty though because i cant decide. never will be able to. Is there a music artist that stands above the rest for you?

2. T.I. He spits the truth, and that's more than some good friends can offer. Ay least some of mine anyway.
3. It really depends on a lot of factors. Genre, time period. If the genre is an evolution of rock, it would be Elvis, but Elvis got his idea of music from Blues. Even look at Power Metal. You could say Judas Priest who started it but Iron Maiden perfected it.
